What can I say. I don't think any introduction is needed. A legendary cartoon that almost everyone grows up watching. If you didn't watch this when you are a kid then you're not a normal kid!
Dragonball is definitely the pioneer to all the animes or mangas with the same genre. The drawing was handsome, the animation was good (for those time) and the plot, well, a baddie comes to the Planet Earth with the intention to take over or dot destroy it and the goodies will have to stop the baddies - plain yet exquisite.
I practically watched all of the 3 Dragonball series and I have to say that this would be the mother of all cartoons. To me, watching Dragonball those days is like me watching Heroes now.

I could still remember back in the days where I would jump up and down from the couch; holding a replica of the Thunder Cats sword, shouting "Thunder, Thunder, Thunder Cats!" Besides, who could actually forget the famous quote?
Personally, I'm a cat lover. I adore cats. Since all the protagonist in the cartoons are basically cats, it makes me to love the show even more. Where could you find other cartoons using cats as the heroes?

Not only that, Thunder Cats also had a major influence in Malaysia.

Yes, I DO like Ultraman; but not all Ultraman. Out of the god-knows-how-many Ultramans in the universe, the only Ultraman that got my attention was Ultraman Great. Like any other Ultramans, Ultraman Great was coated in red and silver. The reason why I like this particular Ultraman compared to the others was because this Ultraman series was the only Ultraman (at that time) that speaks in English. Yup, you heard me right. Ultraman Great was a co-production between the Japanese and the Australian therefore most of the casts are Australian and the script was written in English. Easily said, Ultraman Great is an Ang mo Ultraman. So for me, an ang mo Ultraman is better than a Ultraman badly dubbed in Bahasa Malaysia.

Yup, he is indeed one of my hero. Now, I'm not so sure you guys out there ever watched this cartoon before although it is quite popular during the 90s. It's basically about a superhero that was spwaned by combining the 5 different element rings - Fire, Water, Wind, Earth and Heart. These rings were worn by the 5 Planeteers and since it's a cartoon, the Planeteers turns out to be 5 children with different etnicity. Captain Planet has powers like Superman. Heck, he's even stronger than a Superman. Not only he has super strength, he also has the ability to shapeshift, telekinesis and telepathy. Cool ain't it? Much like Superman and kryptonite, however, he possesess weakness towards pollution, be it water pollution, haze, toxic waste and etc.
This cartoon is one of a kind cartoon compared to the others. Captain Planet and The Planeteers was not only created with an intend to entertain the viewers but also to increase awareness on the enviroment pollution and hazards. It's much better to educate people when they are young and that's the purpose of Captain Planet and The Planeteers. Besides, kids out there certainly don't want to see their favourite Captain Planet died because of pollution right?

No, it's not Black Fertilizer. Baja Hitam is the Malay translated name for Kamen Rider Black, the 8th installment of the Kamen Rider or Masked Rider series. This show truly is a classic and the most popular Kamen Rider series ever. It basically kickstarted the Kamen Rider or Masked Rider frenzy, not only in Malaysia, but also in other continents. I love this series very much. I mean, what's more cooler than having a hero that looks like a belalang in a supercool black outfit with a fancy belt?
