RD400 Special


Thought you might like to see this special that I am writing about..



The RD400 never came with a twin front disc.

The owner of this one did a conversion......

what do u meant by special?..
is it specially made by factory/import or customized became special?

here also we have customized using RD250lc front end and Brakes.
but still cant help u much in term of braking.... hahaha

Ouch! Nasty!!

Not nice to see a bike like that. Hope the rider was OK - that is the important thing.

In the UK the term Special is used when you take a standard bike and the owner makes it look different to how he wants it.

You could say that my RD400 is special because I painted the wheels and fitted expansion chambers and drilled the discs.

Some would also call it Customising like choppers (Harley Davidson)

FYI, here in Msia, most of the owners of retro bikes will try to maintain
as original looks as it were original from factory. Unleast there is no parts, then some small changing or modification to the bike if needed.

we also have this kind of extreme modification
.. fiitted with turbo, 4 sets of brake disc, single arm...
conversion from new bike to military type old bikes... etc
but we consider that as a diff catergory.
