Tiz a bit cold and wet here in the UK at the moment. Most of the classic riders here put the bikes away in storage over the winter.

Our roads get icy and slippery and the council puts grit/salt on the roads to clear the ice.

It rots the chrome and paintwork so most riders keep off the roads

nice superdel..welcome to rmr..erm..about your request who will be the correspondant i think better u should contact directly to mr OTAI 1KT@hasri. His the ones who incharge this club.. For your information, RMR have such a big event every year in June. All the retro bikers around malaysia will be gather in one place called 'PORT DICKSON'. I suggest and will sure u It's the best articles to review. I will ask my friends to post last june gathering picture. Hope u will enjoy it. thanks.

Cheers mate. The Aircooled RD club mag goes out to club members only. I only print 500 issues. It is not sold so there is no money involved.

The mag is for members who are enthusiasts of the RD Yamaha - I am always on the look out for interesting things to fill a page or two.

as long you can understand our written english
with broken grammar... the is fine and still we can communicate.

I just want to share with u guys on my Rd250f bike.

Very nice and rare bike u have with u... as far as i know, at Malaysia there is only 1 rd400c is still running... but that bike have been modified into Rd400f type and hv to cannibalized orthers types of bike parts to make that it running.

on your Malaysian RD correspondant... i think our Mr. Ramesh a.k.a otai31k is the right person on that matter.

Mr. Ramesh in reading - this is the opprtunity for us to promote our Retro bikes fanatics here in Malaysia to outside world and also to show others that we in Malaysia still have the largest gathering of Japanese Retro bikes...event Japan birth place cannot beat us... hehehe.

on our Greatest retro gathering...
the gathering is just for bikes that were born
on mid70's and early 90's. for bikes that were
born below mid 70's... here we called classic bike.
they were class/gathering of their own. aww

Those photos were taken last year 2008.


On may2009 the participants had increased 3 x
(check the link i just given)
one of the reason Tsunami of retro bikes had tremendously increased Due to existence of the forum RMR and because of that, the price of the bikes and their parts has also increased beyond control.


Just imagine that in early 2008 we can get Rd250LC for rm3.5k (Usd1k) now You are very lucky to get that bike for Rm9k (Usd2.8k).

For RD250F you can get below Rm3k (Usd1k) now you offer Rm7k (Usd2k).. You still cannot get it. In M'sia only below 10 units are still running condition.

Sorry. I forgot to answer..........

My Yellow Jacket is a limited addition jacket (they only make a few a year) made by "Scott Leathers" here in the UK and it cost me around £100. 540 Malaysian ringgits.

 I did have a look and can't see anyone selling them at the moment.

hi superdel......nice to have u here . the place where all the retro bike lover meets. Majority all the retro bike in malaysia known to this website. We have more then one thousand members ,  And almosts every week we have riding in the city or outstation . You can check at our activity. We still new ( mac 2008 ) and we are in the learning process.

Sorry i'm also very hardly understand...
He is one of our retro raider from Indonesia....

he is saying like this:-

Sorry i'm also very hardly understand...
He is one of our retro raider from Indonesia....

he is saying like this:-

very angry with Malaysian workshop, i hv send since last August.. but until now only the chasis hv been repainted. i'm very frustrated since i hv missed alots of ride with RMR members... and more sad.. when members all way asking.... where is yur bike??... where is yur bike??..

I hv given warning to the Malaysian workshop owner to settle by this week.... if not I will take back to bike and send back to home town..Indonesia. Faster and cheaper.

its superb and great pleasure to have u inside our Retro Malaysia Riders community and please be informed that you are the first foreign guy that has registered into RMR website and are very proud to have a connection with outsider. Even though we are very far apart and impossible to ride with our bike together, but with this internet relationship we still can change knowledge, experience or others as like we are very close together and nearby.

We hope with this connection and relationship, we can make big impact and to show others bike lover or normal person in my country or yours that Retro/old bike is not just a riding bike, its a passion to own. Sorry my English is not good, hope you understand well.
